Brace Yourself
Crappy Fionna Apple is coming out with a new CD. The woman who wears flip flops to award ceremonies and whose only other claim to fame was starting a cause to end the tradition of the Thanksgiving turkey. But, no, she's not a pet peeve of mine. Not by any stretch.

And she'll go away. Wait, was she still here in the first place?
But you actually gave me something to like about her, with that turkey thing. I'd missed that one.
Fiona Apple? Fuh-get about Fiona 'You need to eat about two dozen' Apples... The real travesty of the day is this "new" lead singer of INXS. The word for the day is FIX. And "Fix"-ed it was. Can anyone replace Michael Hutchins?...no. Should they try? Probably not. Were ANY of the "rockers" really right for INXS. No. BUT.....week after week that pathetically under-talented whiner JD kept showing how pathetically under-talented he was and he STILL gets to go on tour with them??? Maybe the plan is to dump him after they tour. After all...there's going to be a 'Rockstar' season 2.
Listen, say what you will, but her second album is actually fairly good.
I'll duck now.
Jere - She's the real turkey.
Steve - I know, I heard about the new singer. What's his name? Gary Cherone? I am sure that this is especially devastating news for Stacia, as we were all such big fans way back when. Actually, I can tell you exactly when. When he was still alive and KICKing.
Andrew - Everyone is entitled to one guilty pleasure. But, Fionna is just so "eeewwww" to me. That horrid video of her rolling around on some dirty kitchen floor all bony and whatnot - gross!
I can't say as I'm attracted to the woman, but she sang a few pretty songs. I could do without the anorexic stripping, it's true.
I noticed while researching the turkey thing that her real name is Fiona Apple Maggart.
Why do people change their names as if we won't ever find out what the real one was?
I guess you sell more albums with the apple than you do with the maggot.
And that's One to Grow On.
