I Suspect
... we haven't seen the last of Johnson. Unfortunately.
Why not Syder? Why not anybody else? We've given the guy a fair shot. He didn't come with consistency. He came with, "he's a ground ball pitcher." *Ahem* I saw a lot of balls whizzing around in the air during his last 2 outings.

at least no heckler at the game tonight...
he's a season tix holder according to Don, someone asked about him in his online chat Mon., saw it on Boston.com. He picks on one player per series & rides him. Anyway, so far, so good tonight. Nice #2 for Dougie!! don't want to jinx it, tho, so that's enough!

Alas, the heckler was there after all. I'm going to petition my Congressman to enact a law banning artificially hued mullets.
But we won!
At first, I thought he wasn't in attendance since I didn't hear his big yapper. But I saw him later in the game. He looks like a professional wrestler or the guy on American Chopper or whatever that motorcycle show is called.
I was under the impression that JJ was gone as a 5th starter possibility. In my mind, his unending medocre consistancy doomed him in Tampa. Have you heard otherwise? Our other choices? Time is kind, because he (whomever he is) will not be needed for a while. Clearly we have through NEXT weekend before we have a need of a 5th starter. Right? Hope your holiday was great.
